King Solomon, The Queen of Sheba, Emperor Menelik & The Ark of the Covenant. King Solomon of Israel is the son of King David who defeated Goliath with a sling & a stone to remove reproach from Israel at the hands of their enemies. Jerusalem became the capital city of Israel's promise land of Canaan after leaving Egypt and 400 years of bondage.

Queen Makeda of Sheba is the virgin Queen who traveled to Jerusalem to seek wisdom & to test King Solomon with difficult questions.

Their union brought forth a son named Bayna Lekhem (Son of a wise man) who after a journey to Jerusalem was received by his father King Solomon and crowned King David 2nd Menelik 1st before moving the Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia.

On his return to Ethiopia Queen Makeda relinquished the Throne to her son Emperor Menelik 1st and he then began a long line of Ethiopian kings with Emperor Haile Selassie 1st being the latest and the 225th direct descendent, he was crowned on 2nd November 1930 in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
